Ramesh Mutyala, MD

Dr. Mutyala is a board-certified internal medicine physician with more than 15 years of experience. He has been on staff as a hospitalist at Wilson Medical Center since 2006. Dr. Mutyala received his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He completed his internship at Frankford Hospital, part of Jefferson Health System in Philadelphia, PA and his residency at VA Medical Center affiliated with Drexel university in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He specializes in general health, annual well visits, hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease, treatment of minor conditions, complex chronic conditions and post-COVID management. Dr. Mutyala is also affiliated with Vidant Medical Group and UNC Health System at Lenoir in Kinston. He and his wife Suman live in Wilson with their two children. Dr. Mutyala enjoys biking, swimming, traveling internationally and photography and videography. Dr. Mutyala speaks several languages including English, Hindi and Telugu.
